If the reunion between Arsenal and adidas fascinated us so much, one of the main reasons was the desire, or perhaps better the hope, to see again the Gunners wearing those kits so iconic that they made history. Well, after unveiling the Home shirt, the German brand also presented the Away version, nothing more than a review of the unforgettable 'Bruised Banana' kit, used by the London club in the early 90s and characterized by that unmistakable yellow and black zig zag pattern.

The new jersey, which is much lighter in comparison to the one it was inspired by, was presented in Los Angeles and will make its debut on July 17th, during the US friendly against Bayern Munich. To see it in official competitions we will wait until 11th of August, when Arsenal will visit Newcastle in Premier League. NBA star James Harden and former player Ian Wright were also among the testimonials who wore the new jersey.
