Chicago Bulls will dress the glorious pinstriped jersey again

Next season will be probably difficult for the Chicago Bulls, really far from the best franchises because of the quality of the roster, but for the fans of the US team there's still a reason to smile: Bulls will play with the 'statement edition jersey', taking inspiration from the glorious famous black and red jersey with thin vertical white stripes, revisited in a modern way.

And it's immediately nostalgic moment thinking about the Bulls of the 90s, and that almost unbeatable team in which Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoč and Steve Kerr played. As stated by Michael Reinsdorf, President and COO of Chicago Bulls:

"For years, we have heard from fans from around the world about their affinity for the iconic pinstripe uniform from the 90's. Our new Statement Edition uniforms are not only a nod to that fan-favorite jersey but also represent an important part of our franchise history, with a modern twist that reflects the look and feel of Chicago Bulls basketball today" said Michael Reinsdorf, Chicago Bulls President & COO. 

The Bulls are not the only NBA team that has decided to remake a vintage shirt, as even the reigning champions of Toronto Raptors, for example, will wear the unforgettable Dino Jersey that dates back to the same historical period, the 90s. The 'statement edition jersey' presents a detail that will not have missed by the great fans of the Bulls, the six stars on the belt buckle of the shorts in honor of the six titles won. The 'statement edition jersey' will be worn for the first time on October 28th at Madison Square Garden against Knicks, and then six more times at home during the rest of the season.
