The new Belgium Home kit for Euro 2020
The new Diables Rouges adidas kit will debut this week against Russia and Cyprus
November 12th, 2019
During the International break dedicated to the National squads' games, adidas unveiled all the new kits of its teams for the 2019/2020 season, many of which will be worn next June during Euro 2020. Among the top teams sponsored by the German brand there are of Spain and Germany, but also Belgium of course, for which adidas has designed a brand new kit that will be worn by Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Dries Mertens starting from the next qualifying matches against Russia and Cyprus, even if the Diables Rouges have already obtained the pass. The Belgian jersey is a clear example of the new artistic vein applied on the new jerseys by the German brand: the shirt is crossed by three large black and burgundy brushstrokes to create an abstract letter B, very similar to those on 'Uniforia', the new official ball of the European Championships, presented by adidas a few days ago.
Among the details of the new shirt of the team number 1 in the FIFA ranking, there are the flag reminders on the V-neck and on the sleeves, yellow and black. But the main novelty of the jersey is undoubtedly the new badge of the Royal Belgium Football Association, just presented for the 125th anniversary of the Federation and placed on the chest, as well as the adidas logo and the jersey numbers. In addition to red shorts and socks, adidas also presented a street capsule collection with prematch jackets, tees and a jumpsuit.
