The new SSC Napoli black camouflage jersey
Inspired by the 30 city districts
December 16th, 2019
It was a week of great changes for SSC Napoli, began with qualifying for the Champions League Round of 16 and continued with the sack of Carlo Ancelotti. To get out of the crisis the Azzurri have relied on Gennaro Gattuso and on two great certainties of the club: the city and the jersey. For this Kappa presented the new team kit, the Napoli Kombat District, worn immediately during the defeat suffered at the San Paolo against Parma and inspired by the 30 districts of the city, from Fuorigrotta to Posillipo, from Scampia to Vomero.

The shirt takes up the camouflage pattern, used on several occasions by the blues over the last few seasons and in this case made with shades of grey and black. The peculiarity of this shirt is that it is divided into blocks that take the shape of the boundaries of the city districts, to symbolize the identity of the different areas of the city that come together under the colors of the Neapolitan soccer shirt and tradition.
The model chosen by Kappa is the historic Kombat, in which stand out the blue details like the Omini logo, the collar and the crest, which has been slightly modified by replacing the dark blue details with the typical blue color and leaving the white N in the original logo in negative. The same color scheme also returns in shorts and socks, where the camo texture does not appear.
