Barcelona will mix blaugrana and senyera in the fourth kit 2020/2021
Return to the past at Camp Nou
April 17th, 2020
As anticipated by numerous leaks, the Barcelona shirt for the 2020-2021 season will have many historical references: according to the newspaper ''Sport'' a further test would be the fourth kit that will combine the colors of the senyera with the blaugrana for the first time classic of the first shirt. It is an innovative design with alternating strips of amaranth that fade into further even more subtle yellow lines, recreating the Catalan flag.
Barcelona reintroduced the fourth kit with yellow-red base in the current season only for certain special occasions - such as the match against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano -, but it was from the 2013-2014 season that the senyera was not seen at the Camp Nou.
The fourth kit should be completed in a ''classic'' way, with blue shorts and socks that will have the same main color but with senyera details.
No images of the first three kits have yet appeared, although numerous images have leaked in which both the first, which recalls the uniform of 100 years ago, and the second, black and third in pink, have appeared.
The big question now is when they will be presented as Barça and Nike normally reveal them at the end of each season but, not knowing if and when Liga and Champions League will end, everything will remain open, suggesting that each presentation will be postponed to the end of summer.
