Bayern Munich fans can choose their next goalkeeper jersey

Following in the footsteps of Borussia Dortmund and Fiorentina, Bayern Munich will also let the fans choose next season's shirt. Not just any jersey, unlike the teams mentioned above, adidas and Bayern will let the fans choose the goalkeeper's jersey, the one that Manuel Neuer will most likely wear again next year. The first detail has already been defined, in fact the fans were immediately asked to choose the colour of the shirt, opting for black, a fairly recurring colour for the Bavarian extreme defender. Now instead comes the most interesting part, the fans will be asked to choose the design, hoping that at least they will bring back to the centre of attention a jersey that with the passage of time has been increasingly sidelined, relegating them to standard design, like the one in the photo used by many clubs sponsored by the three stripes.

Since last year, design contests for game jerseys are becoming one of the most vital trends in the landscape of kit production for football teams. The reason is simple, a competition to choose the official jersey creates a direct relationship between team and fans, who feel involved in the process of deciding what will be the face of the club for an entire season. And even though the relationship between fans and the German club is as strong as ever, Bayern Munich has decided to strengthen it even further.
