Santos changed sponsors after one day

It is incredible what has happened in Brazil, specifically at Santos. A sudden change never seen before. A few days ago, in fact, the Brazilian club had presented the new jerseys together with Umbro where the sponsor PixBet was present, but only a day later cancelled everything and changed to Blaze. A more than surprising decision given that Santos had signed a two-year agreement and after a few hours decided to tear it up, due to a higher offer. In the tangled issue, however, there seems to be the figure of Neymar in the middle. The former Santos star is Blaze's ambassador and according to some Brazilian media, this has influenced the agreement and sponsorship.  

Commented Blaze co-founder Nick van Gorsel: 'We believe Santos FC will do many more good things and we look forward to riding this wave with them. We see our partnership as a great branding opportunity and through this collaboration we can create incredible experiences for fans on and off the pitch."

Despite the separation a few years ago, Neymar and Santos are obviously on great terms, the Brazilian footballer has written pages of history, as well as being the most lucrative transfer. Therefore, his possible involvement is not entirely excluded, although formally the player is not authorised to close any kind of deal for the club. A change that did not find Umbro unprepared, who for the first day of the championship had already changed the sponsor, putting Blaze in place of PixBet. A sponsorship that will surely go down in history, beating any record ever seen before.
