The new Venezia FC home jersey for the 2023/24 season is here
Dedicated to the work of Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa
July 13th, 2023
After the successful launch of the 23/24 pre-match jersey, Venezia FC presents the 23/24 home jersey made with Kappa. A jersey that continues the narrative started last week, in which the orange and green club pays tribute to the famous Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa in the year of the 18th anniversary of the Biennale di Architettura. The jersey, designed together with the German studio Bureau Borsche, is black with a thin orange and green central stripe that divides it into two perfectly symmetrical halves. On the right half are the logos of the club's technical sponsor, Kappa, and the words 'City of Venice', all in gold. The same precious colour has been used for the buttoned round neck, a profile that Scarpa uses to refine its work while maintaining the elegant simplicity of pure form that has always been one of its distinguishing features.
The design chosen for the Venezia FC 23/24 home jersey recalls the impeccable blend of tradition and modernity that characterised last season's first jersey. Two elements that fit perfectly with Scarpa's philosophy of fusing attention to detail and artistic sensibility with new architectural elements, preserving the elegance of Venice. Following this guideline, Bureau Borsche decided to emphasise the island and mainland soul of the fans by placing an orange and green band in the centre of the jersey, which contrasts with the black background of the jersey in an essential geometry. As every year, the launch of Venezia's new jersey is awaited by fans all over the world. The club from the lagoon thus confirms that it is one of those who pay the most attention to the style and aesthetics of their match jerseys.
