Parma and PUMA unveil their new jersey together
The home jersey marks the long-awaited return as sponsor of the ducal club
July 18th, 2023
Following the announcement of Parma Calcio's new partnership with PUMA last month, almost twenty-five years after their first historic collaboration, the ducal club has returned to provide the historic German brand with its home kit for the 2023/24 season. The new home kit is in keeping with tradition and the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the founding of Parma Foot Ball Club, when on 16 December 1913 two of the club's players, Ugo Betti and Torquato Rossini, designed the iconic Maja Crozaeda, a white shirt with a black cross on the chest.
Today, to celebrate the return after the three-year hiatus 1995-1998 and as a tribute to the historical roots of the Crociati Club, PUMA presents the new jersey in the elegant white base colour with the iconic cross in black, updated with stylistic details such as the yellow piping, the V-collar with the double yellow-blue colour scheme reminiscent of the ducal colours. Along with the home jersey for the movement players, the goalkeeper's jersey was also presented, a role that maintains its mythology at Parma thanks to Gianluigi Buffon, in red with a V-neck and a graphic pattern that enhances the speed of movement.
The two new regular fit jerseys are made from 100% recycled polyester with advanced dryCELL thermoregulation technology from PUMA, enhanced moisture management that ensures perfect body temperature. Combined with a seamless design, the jerseys offer the latest fit for optimal performance and an ultra-light jacquard structure at the back to improve breathability during intense performances and keep the skin dry for the full 90 minutes and beyond, regardless of time, pitch or location.
