The bricks of Manchester inspire the new City Away kit
The new Premier League season starts from the industrial tradition of the city

Manchester is a city whose history intersects with that of the development of the industrial field, which has led the English city to be the economic center of the country. Manchester's industrial tradition has also greatly influenced the architecture of the city's buildings and houses, and the massive use of Ancoats bricks, the classic red blocks that create the facade of many houses and define the terrace style. These bricks - and the industrial tradition - inspired Manchester City for the new Away shirt, made by PUMA and presented a few hours before the Premier League debut against Burnley.
The brown color enriches the details of a shirt whose predominant color is white, moved by a tone-on-tone pattern taken from the club's archive shirts. Among the style elements of this shirt, the collar combines the PUMA crest and logo, rubberized and bronze-colored, a detail that significantly raises the quality of the whole kit. There is no shortage of references to that industrial tradition, for example in the collar, in which the word CITY is inserted within the typical profile of a factory. The shorts are completely in the color of the bricks, while the socks are the color scheme of the shirt. This completes the package of three City shirts, three like the trophies won last season by Pep Guardiola's team, in the historic treble achieved in Istanbul with the victory of the Champions League.
