Inter Milan will play wearing a jersey dedicated to Air Max Day
The Nerazzurri will wear a customised version of the home kit dedicated to the launch of the Air Max Dn
March 26th, 2024
March 26th marks Air Max Day, the day dedicated to Nike fans and the technology that has defined the company's history. Throughout its journey, Nike has managed to build a significant narrative around its heritage, leveraging Air Max technology: a story that began back in 1987, thanks to the brilliant mind of Tinker Hatfield. This year marks the tenth anniversary of Air Max Day, and for this occasion, Nike has envisioned a reissue of the Air Max 1 in the Royal colorway, along with the launch of the new Air Max chapter, the Air Max Dn. Nike also chose to include the world of football in these celebrations, using the only team sponsored in Serie A by the Swoosh by making a custom version of the Inter Milan home jersey.
On Monday, the Nerazzurri will take to the pitch against Empoli wearing a special jersey featuring prominent Nike Air Max Dn branding, paired with fluorescent yellow used for the logo and emblem. This marks the third special jersey worn by Inter this season, following those featuring Transformers and Ninja Turtles branding. On the two previous occasions, the special jersey brought luck to the Nerazzurri, who respectively defeated Udinese and Genoa by scores of 4-0 and 2-1. From the photos unveiled on the Nerazzurri's Instagram profile, the new jersey, representing a blend of street and jersey culture, will be sold in limited edition with special packaging adorned with the names of Barella, Thuram, and Lautaro Martinez.
