Here is the new Ajax home jersey
It is the 25th made by adidas for the Amsterdam team
July 5th, 2024
Following the unveiling of the away kit on 31 May, Ajax has now also unveiled the Home kit for the 2024/25 season. It is the 25th consecutive jersey adidas has produced for the Lancers, and this rare achievement in modern football is celebrated with a design that echoes the tradition of Ajax home kits and references the Three Stripes that have become synonymous with the Amsterdam side. On the 2024/25 Home shirt, the collar, which is fastened with a white button, once again takes centre stage, as do the details in the collar. The Lancers' crest with the three stars is always present, while the three St Andrew's crosses symbolising Amsterdam are placed at the back of the neck.
The jersey is characterised by the use of the colours red and white, with the former marking the band in the middle of the jersey. This time, however, it does not go all the way to the bottom of the jersey, but ends a few centimetres earlier on the back with a curved line that follows the adidas pattern. As last season, the men's team will have Ziggo as their main commercial sponsor, while the women's team will wear the far more eye-catching ABN-AMBRO, which has featured vertically on all Ajax jerseys since the turn of the millennium.
