The yellow returns on Juventus' Away kit
Two years after the last time
July 30th, 2024
In addition to black and white, the most famous colors in the history of Juventus are yellow and pink. In fact, from time to time, they appear on the Away or Third kits, demonstrating that the Turin club finds it difficult to detach itself from a strong and established DNA. For the 2024/25 season, yellow will make its return on the bianconeri's Away kit after two years of absence, in a version that resembles the Third kit from the 2021/22 season more than the Away kit from 2017/18. The yellow fades across the entire central area of the kit, alternating with white. The Teamgeist-inspired inserts, on the other hand, are pink, as is the stripe that runs across the entire collar; the club crest and the adidas logo are presented in an unprecedented purple version. Thus, the month of July for the team coached by Thiago Motta concludes with the release of this kit, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the launch of the Third kit, which, if the leaks are confirmed, will see the return of the Trefoil logo of the Three Stripes and the iconic Juventus zebra.
Juventus and adidas launch the Away kit after taking a trip down memory lane with the release of the Home kit: wide and regular stripes, a true nostalgic taste that, as always, satisfies a large portion of supporters. The Away kit is certainly more experimental, but the smart move by the German company and the Turin club is clear: to convey a message through a color tone that recalls unforgettable moments for all fans. The yellow stars that appear on the blue kit of Fabrizio Ravanelli, who scored the opening goal in the 1995/1996 Champions Cup victory against Ajax, and the yellow kit of Angelo Peruzzi, crucial in the victorious penalty shootout with two saves.
