Parma chooses horizontal stripes for its Away jersey
Return an iconic design to celebrate a historic season
August 1st, 2024
PUMA and Parma Calcio present today the new Away Kit that will be worn by the women's, men's, and youth teams in the 2024/25 football season, inspired by the Ennio Tardini stadium, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The new Away jersey sees the return of the historic blue and yellow horizontal stripes, with navy collar and sleeve trim, reminiscent of the uniforms from the early 2000s. The design is made elegant by the details on the yellow horizontal stripes, which feature the recognizable profiles of the monumental gate at the stadium entrance, and are embellished with the Tardini 100 logo, celebrating the historic bond between the team and their stadium in this special Centenary year.
In this century of history, the Tardini stadium has hosted great champions from all over the world, magical European nights, and 8 trophies won. Today, it is one of the oldest and most fascinating stadiums in Italy. Its charm is created by the Liberty style of its famous monumental entrance, and above all by its close proximity to the playing field, as they say in these cases in English. On the occasion of this important anniversary, Parma Calcio wanted to pay tribute to the Tardini with a celebratory logo, a symbol that is not only a sign of gratitude to the past, but also a commitment to the future, to continue living and sharing new emotions with all the fans.
The new Parma Calcio Away jersey, with a regular fit, combines 100% recycled polyester fabrics with the advanced dryCELL technology from PUMA, an improved moisture management system that ensures the perfect body temperature. Ideal for both the game and everyday use, the jersey is made with PUMA's innovative recycling technology, RE:FIBRE, and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste.
