Bayern Munich gets ready for Oktoberfest with a new kit

The Oktoberfest is the most important festival in Bavaria, the region where Munich is located, which gathers beer enthusiasts from all over the world at the beginning of autumn for one of the experiences that characterize the German city. And like every season, Bayern Munich and adidas release a jersey that celebrates this moment when the city lights up. After the splendid third kit with the Trefoil and vintage aesthetics, this time the Three Stripes choose a complete in shades of gray. The design is enriched by a diamond pattern and a buttoned collar, a must-have in adidas' seasonal kits when they want to give a more lifestyle touch. And this concept is reiterated by the choice to include not only the Trefoil but also a new crest of Bayern Munich created specifically for Oktoberfest, which takes inspiration from the Gothic style. 

Together with the jersey, which will be worn by the Bavarian team in the highly anticipated home match against the reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen on September 28th, adidas has also created a lifestyle collection where the main piece is definitely the Janker, the typical Bavarian jacket usually made of wool. The one for Bayern Munich, however, is made of polyester but maintains all the details that define this iconic festive garment, to be worn strictly on the most important days of Oktoberfest. The collection is completed by a tracksuit and a t-shirt, both in green and featuring the logos of adidas and Wiesn Bayern.
