Umbro's latest centenary campaign
Fans Forever, when football truly belongs to the fans
December 2nd, 2024
Describing Umbro's past year as full of new developments would be an understatement: the sportswear brand has delighted its fans with countless releases and campaigns over the last 12 months, celebrating the connection with sports—particularly football—that has defined it since day one. As the final chapter before the start of 2025, marking the 101st year of Umbro's history, the Manchester-based brand has chosen to launch a project centered on fans. Inspired by a Renaissance masterpiece that brought together the brightest minds of antiquity, Umbro commissioned photographer Louis Bever to celebrate the love for football, a passion that transcends borders and rivalries.
In the latest campaign, Fans Forever, each fan wears one of the Umbro Centenary Kits, representing their club and posing at Manchester's historic Mayfield Depot—an homage to Umbro's home and industrial roots—alongside fans they would never have posed with before. It's not just a collection but a celebration that goes beyond club crests. Louis Bever's shots capture a moment, paying tribute to a century of shared passion for football while looking ahead to the next 100 years. Among the many jerseys featured are those of Fluminense, CD Aguila, Ipswich Town, Lorient, Nacional, and the England national rugby team.
