Inter Miami has presented the new Away jersey
A tribute to the greatness of the team's star athlete, Lionel Messi
December 12th, 2024
In a season full of news for the MLS, including the expansion of the league to 30 teams with the inclusion of San Diego, Inter Miami has already unveiled the new Away jersey for the 2025 season. An official start date has not yet been announced, but it will most likely start in late February. The new away jersey of the David Beckham-owned team, featuring Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and led by Javier Mascherano, comes in a split version with two different shades of black, one of which tends more towards grey. The central area of the jersey is dominated by the US club's sponsor, Royal Caribbean Cruises, while an additional detail for this season can be found at the bottom: a large ‘M’, dedicated to the club but also interpreted as a tribute to the greatness of the team's star athlete, Lionel Messi.
As is the case in every self-respecting MLS season, each club presents alternately one version between Away and Home, keeping it for two seasons before changing it, following this cycle. It will therefore be in the 2026 season that we will see the arrival of the new Inter Miami home jersey. We can expect its design to be revolutionised, going from an extremely simple style to something more elaborate and refined, considering the cultural weight that the World Cup will have in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026.
