adidas today unveiled the new Away kits created exclusively for the women's national teams of Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Sweden, and Wales, ready to compete on the European football stage at the UEFA Women's EURO 2025. Designed for athletes and fans, the new adidas kits blend the past and the present, drawing inspiration from the artistic movements that define the cultural identity of each nation, from the realism and expressionism of the Italian Renaissance to the street art and graffiti of modern German cities. Sam Handy, GM of Football at adidas, commented: “The importance of the jersey is undeniable, both in football and in culture: it represents hope, passion, and a team spirit that unites a nation ahead of a major tournament. For UEFA Women's EURO 2025, we focused on creating performance kits with contemporary designs that connect players and fans to each nation's visual identity. We are excited to see these kits on the field and in the stands in Switzerland this summer.”

The Italy kit is inspired by the Realism and Naturalism movements of the Renaissance, a period when artists focused on the realistic representation of the world. The Belgium kit, on the other hand, is inspired by the abstract geometric patterns in Belgian art from the 1920s, reinterpreting the traditional red flame of the RBFA, the country's symbol, with a vibrant play of yellow, red, and orange. The second kit for Germany celebrates the country's rich street art scene. Bold lines in various shades of red and pink, applied with a modern graffiti style, evoke the vibrant murals that characterize its cosmopolitan cities. The Spain kit, meanwhile, is rooted in the Cubism of the 20th century, famous for its abstract images created by deconstructing and reassembling the parts of a subject in abstract form. Pink and gray geometric shapes punctuate a creamy white base, symbolizing a new, bold era for the Spanish women's national team.
