March 7th, 2025
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Red Star FC, in collaboration with its main partner Trust'IT, takes a strong stance in favor of gender equality with a new initiative called TRUST'HER. This operation highlights the importance of fighting for equality between women and men and aims to raise awareness about women's rights through football. For the match against Amiens on Friday, March 7, Red Star FC will take the pitch with a special edition jersey, which will have the message "Trust'Her" prominently displayed on the chest. A symbolic gesture with the goal of highlighting the ongoing fight for women's rights, a cause that the club is particularly passionate about. Red Star's support for this cause is further strengthened by its partnership with the Women's Foundation, which works tirelessly to defend gender equality and combat violence against women.
Red Star FC's commitment to gender equality is not new. After joining the #8November16h48 movement, the club further strengthened its involvement by making the Women's Foundation a key partner in this important initiative. To further support the cause, Red Star FC will sell the special "Trust'Her" jerseys for 59 € at the Bauer stadium, with 10 € from each sale going to the Women's Foundation. The jerseys worn by the players during the match will also be auctioned off at the end of the game on shop.redstar.fr, with a portion of the proceeds going to the foundation. In addition to the match and fundraising activities, Red Star FC has organized an informative and interactive session at the Bauer Stadium. Stand Up, a training course led by the Women's Foundation, will be available to educate participants on how to combat sexual harassment on the street.
This fundraising effort ensures that the Women's Foundation can continue its vital work for women's rights throughout France. Trust'IT, a digital services company founded in 2017, is a crucial ally in this campaign. By supporting the Trust'Her initiative, Trust'IT demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility and belief in the power of collective action for equality. The company's founder, Ali Sidhoum, personally knows the importance of education and opportunities, having started his career in the IT industry through the École de la Deuxième Chance in Seine-Saint-Denis, a program that offers a second chance to young people.
