Cesena celebrates its 85th anniversary with a special kit
Gold and black to celebrate the nostalgia of the past and the anticipation for the future
April 24th, 2025
On the occasion of its 85th anniversary, Cesena FC presents the kit created in limited edition in collaboration with Erreà, the official technical sponsor. This significant milestone is a tribute to the history, tradition, and successes of the bianconeri club, always loved by its fans. The new kit draws inspiration from the simple lines that characterized the early years of the club, with a white shirt adorned with black and gold details that combine the nostalgia of the past with a touch of modernity. The black shorts complete an elegant and harmonious look, ideal for representing the essence of Cesena FC.
Particular attention is given to the details that make this kit unique. On the back of the shirt, under the collar, stands out the inscription "1940-2025", a clear tribute to the 85 years of the club. In addition, each shirt is marked with a special edition patch, which attests to its uniqueness with a specific serial number. The packaging is equally refined: the shirt will be delivered in a box decorated in gold, with the dates 1940-2025 celebrating the long journey of the Seahorse. A distinctive element of the new kit is the celebratory crest, which, on this occasion, replaces the traditional emblem of the club. This logo, with the seahorse in the center, is enriched with golden embroidery and a clear reference to the number 85, symbolizing the years of history that Cesena FC represents.
"Reaching the milestone of 85 years is a great pride for all of us," commented Corrado Di Taranto, General Manager of Cesena FC. "This kit symbolizes not only our history but also the bond with our fans, representing an authentic piece of bianconeri identity". The launch of the kit was made even more fascinating thanks to the location chosen for the photo shoot: the Biblioteca Malatestiana in Cesena, a UNESCO heritage site and a symbol of culture and identity of the city. This historical setting combined sport and tradition, paying tribute to such a significant occasion.
