Nike presents its new campaign Equality
LeBron James, Durant and Serena Williams among others in favor of integration
February 15th, 2017
In a very complicated moment in history for America from a political point of view, many companies, personalities and sports superstars - like Curry and LeBron James - are giving an important and strong signal in favor of integration and racial, sex and all America’s diversities’ equality. And that’s the very name of the new Nike’s campaign that, after the "Come out of nowhere" commercials, joined the chorus of voices against discrimination, both in politics and sports.
And it did it with the sports field of play metaphor - either basketball, football or soccer - which stretches out itself to let everyone fell included. Of course, there are some important endorsers like King James, Kevin Durant, Serena Williams, the soccer player Megan Rapinoe, the olympic champions Dalilah Muhammad and Gabby Douglas, with musical cameo from Alicia Keys.
Another important message in favor of equity and integration, that comes out and loud even from the sportground:
“If we can be equals here, we can be equals everywhere”.
