The fallen Emperor
Adriano turns 35 today and nss sports wants to remember him for what he used to be
February 17th, 2017
26 goals in 44 games with Parma, 75 in 177 matches with Inter and 27 goals in 48 games played with Brasil. Those are just some of the unbelievable numbers of a player that - if stayed on track - may have become one of the greatest ever to have played football. However, Adriano Leite Ribeiro, Adrian the Emperor, closed his career ruefully, playing 22 games since 2010 and being more famous for his inappropriate relationships and crazy life than for football.
Today, "Adri" turns 35 and, if things would've turned differently, he would've been proceeding towards the end of his career, covered with honors and celebrated in every stadium. And even if his life took a different path, nss sports wanted to celebrate him as it remembers him. Strong, overwhelmingly strong, and lethal. Happy birthday, Emperor!
