Nike CR7 Chapter 4: Forged for Greatness

As all the best weapons, also Cristiano Ronaldo was slowly forged, following every step necessary to shape a piece of iron - or in this case a 18 year old Portuguese boy - into the most lethal of weapons. On this metaphor is founded the presentation of the new Nike Mercurial CR7 Chapter 4: Forged for Greatness, that narrates Cristiano Ronaldo’s path to greatness.

This time, Madeira’s phenomenon speaks about the transition from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United, lived symbolically as the transition from the number 28 - his previous number at Sporting - to the number 7, a shirt worn by so many Red Devils’ legends. “Alex Ferguson said to me: 'Listen,  I want you to take number seven,'” recalls Ronaldo. “I was surprised because I knew the guys who had worn that shirt.”
