Say hello to the 'Crying James' meme
In the last LeBron's commercial for Intel, there might be the retirement for the 'Crying Jordan' meme
April 3rd, 2017
For so many years, on social media, forums and even on tv, the ‘Crying Jordan’ meme has been used to mocked former Bulls’ number 23. But maybe now, after the last commercial by computer colossus Intel’s spot, we may have a new ‘Crying James' meme.
No, it has nothing to do with Cavs’ games or results. Even if LeBron never denied himself with some tears after a particular emotional loss - or even win - this new caricature may come from his new commercial filmed for Intel. The spot, in fact, wants to promote Intel’s 360 degrees replay, that from some years have been showing during NBA games and that, in this case, indulges over LeBron’s crying face after a particularly emotional three to win the (hypothetical) game.
Thanks to the replay’s angle, provided by more than 20 cameras all around NBA arenas, you can even see a crying baby face, instead of LeBron’s. May be the right time for ‘Crying Jordan’ meme to retire?
