Emerson, the right player in the right place

For many years, Emerson Ferreira da Rosa was considered an atypical Brazilian player. Maybe, Emerson was the first to be considered in that way. He was always focused, always under control, Emerson impose himself in Europe in young age, without the minimum sign of weakness, both technical or social.

He never scored a lot of goals, but he always was unchangeable. Emerson was the right player in the right place. Always. Today he turns 41 years, and it seems fair to us to celebrate him in this way, on the pitch, were he always preferred to be.
