Not everybody will know the Salford City, the club that no longer that a month ago collaborated with Umbro to the realization of a capsule collection. But, if we know a lot about Umbro, where did Salford City come from?
Just from the city of Salford, a suburbs of Manchester. The club was funded in 1940, and they play in the National League North, but they got some good games in FA Cup. The notable thing is that the club was acquired by the famous “class of ‘92” of the Manchester United, and they declared to look at the Championship in just 15 years. They choose Salford for his rich history and for the love of their fans.
Now, Umbro went to Salford to shot the “Life is a Pitch” campaign, and here you can see the result.
