«The 125th-anniversary kit is the perfect blend of heritage and modern technology, creating a look that is visually stunning and performs at the highest level». Those were the first words from the New Balance General Manager, that also the next month will wear the Liverpool FC. But the next one won’t be a normal one: it will be in fact the 125th birthday of the club, an infinite tradition, full of success and moment that made the football history. As the Rome final in 1984, or the Hillsborough tragedy, which years (’96) is featured on the jersey.
A jersey that is fully built on Liverpool tradition, with a V-neck in 80s style and a color redder than the previous years. «Our 125th Anniversary is a great moment for us all to celebrate our heritage and this kit really reflects that especially as it features the anniversary crest - we’ll wear it with pride» said Jordan Henderson. For the occasion, in fact, the crest will be changed with the additions of the dates 1892 and 2017.
