It is a late news that Jordan - His Airness' brand under Nike - signed for the first time in its history a player from China. To join the roster composed by champions like Kawhi Leonard, Chirs Paul, and Russell Westbrook, in fact, will be Guo Ailun, a boy born in '93 previously supplied by Chinese brand Li-Ning.
According to the rumors, the young star of the Liaoning Flying Leopards will receive 1,4 million dollars per year from Jordan brand, other than the obvious prestige that comes with this deal. Even if he doesn't play in the NBA and he's not famous overseas already, Guo Ailun is a proper phenomenon in China, where he also has a strong appeal on Sina Weibo, one of the country's most famous social networks. On a sports level, he played great with China during 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. It's not impossible, though, that this new partnership with Jordan will lead him to a new adventure in the NBA.
