You can vote for Wuppertaler new kit on Facebook

The history of Wuppertaler SV is not exactly the one of a glorious team. Born in the city of Wuppertaler, in the Western part of Rhine, the club is a multi-sports organization that also involve box, athletics, handball and that was made by the fusion of two societies. A couple of good seasons in Bundesliga, one participation at the Coppa Uefa during the 70s and nothing more. Then the retrocession, the inferior series, the bankrupt and the failure.

Why are we then talking about Wuppertaler? Because the actual property is thinking bigger, directly looking at the Bundesliga and, after the merge with the Borussia Wuppertaler, there have been also some “aesthetics” makes up, that try to balance the elements of the two clubs. But one important decision on the future of the team will also come from… Facebook. A few days ago, in fact, Wuppertaler needed to decide about the colors of the home kit for the new season, among two different Nike models from the past years. One is really similar to the one of France in 2016, the other looks like the Manchester City third kit of this years.

The team has then decided to make its fans (and follower) vote on Facebook through the mechanism of the reactions. One “wow” for the France-look-alike kit, one “love” for the City one. You have time until May 20.
