Unless you’ve lived the last few weeks on Mars - or with locked-down social networks - you surely have noticed the rising growth of IKEA’s FRAKTA bags-inspired accessories. If you didn’t too bad because among those there also was our themed football jersey.
But in the last few days, we had tons of garments, jackets, shoes and various accessories in bright blue, with IKEA bag’s iconic pattern and the Swedish multinational’s logo in plain sight. The last one has been The Shoe Surgeon and Los Angeles-based designer Elliot Evan, that realized an “IKEA Pack” with a pair of Air Jordan 1 shoes and a jacket, both realized with FRAKTA bags’ material.
They will only realize ten pairs of both and the pack will also include an instruction manual reminiscent of that of IKEA products. It all will be available on May 20 for $1,500. The IKEA-mania is far from over.
