Air Jordan I x OFF-WHITE: all the details of one of the collabo of the year

2017 could been already archived as the year of the great collaborations between streetwear and sportswear brands, collaborations that has lead to the realization of instant cult sneakers, thank to the hype of the brands involved. The most emblematic case was the one of the Supreme Uptempo, but not only.

The mother of all the sneakers, the Air Jordan I, was involved in the long creative process of Virgil Abloh, who will recreates all the most iconic Nike sneakers models, in a OFF-WHITE declination. The only model we’re sure about is the “mashup” with the iconic Jordan I. In particular we’re talking about the “Chicago” colorway, the one that followed the famous banned one.

For one month there are a lot of rumors around the release, especially in relation with the potential selling price of 350$, almost the same of the collabo between the same Jordan and KAWS. A sneakers, the latter, that brought with it many polemics in relation to its effective usage on NBA pitch.

The greatest news regard the Swoosh, that will not be present on the internal part of the upper, while will be applied on the external one.
