In the last times things evolved quite a lot in this direction, and thanks to the visionary work of brands like House of Holland, Kappa and some designer like Gosha and, more recently, Virgil Abloh, football gained again territory until impose itself as of the biggest news in the fashion system in 2017. There are many collections that found in the great archive of sportswear brand like Kappa, adidas or Umbro the inspirations.
As we said in a interview with the French Magazine Yard – that interviewed us about “Les Vetements de Football” capsule collection – fashion can be an incredible boost for football spread. Then, everyday we try to find the inspiration for our job, and some months ago we came into the works of Matteo Caputo, young Sicilian designer.
In the past weeks we knew that he was working on a special project that was perfectly in line with our vision of football. The experiment was to find a contact point between football and streetstyle, imagining how the biggest brand could look in a football pitch.
