Are the new Jordan 11 Low inspired by MJ baseball team?

It is quite difficult, for every sneakerhead, to list his favorite Jordans. A special mention is obviously gave to the Air Jordan I, but after that the choice is really hard. We can agree on something: everyone loves Jordan 11 Low. That model is perhaps the most recurrent in the collaborations Jordan made with other brands, and was also released in a tons of colorways. 

Next Saturday it will debut the Air Jordan 11 “Barons”. This nickname however, is not stated in any Jordan press release, but was attributed to the shoe from the fans. This happened because the coloration, in two different black gradients, remember a lot the colors of the Barons, tha baseball team in which Jordan player in the years away from NBA.
