Le nouveau Crocodile

May 22nd, 2017
Novak Djokovic has just fallen under the hits of Zverev at the Rome International in Foro Italico but, for his luck, there also are good news. In fact, it has been announced the deal between the Serbian and Lacoste, a French brand that born and lives thanks to tennis. It was 1933 when tennis player René Lacoste, known as “The Crocodile”, invented the iconic polo LACOSTE L.12.12. The Frenchman and Djokovic share the same values of fair-play, tenacity, and elegance. A perfect marriage, that will turn Nole into the brand’s ambassador in and outside the pitch.
To honor this partnership, Lacoste created a special ‘Novak Djokovic’ collection, that will wear the Serbian tennis player in all four Grand slam tournament, other than all the official occasions. Every garment of this collection was created with selected materials, perfect for fitting with Djokovic’s style and high standards of perfection, in and outside the field. He will have black or white shorts, with polo of various colorations, with lines inspired by the tennis field and Nole’s signature on the left sleeve. Lacoste collection for the Serbian player was portrayed by Jacob Sutton and will make its debut at the next Roland Garros when it will also become available for purchase.
