adidas Football launches its latest shoe, the Nemeziz
Build for the quickest and deadliest players, it took inspiration from the ancient practice of the taping bandaging

“Creating the future means to be inspired by the past”. With these premises, the last shoes exited from adidas Football’s factories, the Nemeziz, make their debut. All the concept behind Three Stripes’ latest creation inspires from an ancient practice, largely diffused in battles, dances, and sports, to create a twist of bandages in taping style, to improve muscular and mental strength. The result is the Nemeziz, a shoe entirely designed to assist all those players that count on their agility to overcome their opponents, and in fact, it will be worn by some of the adidas’ top players: Leo Messi, Roberto Firmino, and Renato Sanchez. In order to express their talent, those players need security, support, and adaptability, all features offered by this new model, that will came up beside the X and the Ace.
The adidas Nemeziz is a shoe that concentrates many new features, among which the AGILITYBANDAGE system, that can count on the TORSIONTAPES technology, capable of blocking the foot in an optimal position, guaranteeing a perfect fit. The dual-lock neck, on the other side, keeps the ankle locked and allows changes of direction at an unthinkable speed. The sole has also been redesigned, and thanks to the TORSIONFRAME technology, provided with a super-light structure with TORSIONRIBS veining, guarantees a superb dynamic support. The new AGILITYKNIT 2.0 spun offers a soft and adaptable surface, for an unmatched lightness feeling.
The Nemeziz follows adidas’ last intent to bring its shoes on all surfaces, and in fact, it will be available in the Street and Cage versions, with some of the same technologies as the standard version. Leo Messi, that will debut with these new shoes in the Copa del Rey final on May 27, commented: “To break the schemes is a typical element of my game. A player must try to surprise the opponent with unexpected moves, speeding as quick as he can. The structure of this shoe is perfect for my tactical approach”.
The adidas Nemeziz will be available in black/white coloration, called Dust Storm, from May 26 on adidas.com and selected retailers.
