Saint Fantantonio

The Italian belonging to the Cult of Saints is well recognized in all the Country. Every city, no matter its size, has its own Patron Saint to protect them, in a country – Italy – where religion is more than something. Together with religion, in Italy there is another cult that has more addiction than in other place: football.

Often the two universes meet each other, between holy and profane. In that moment the legends are born, like the one of Antonio Cassano. Born in Bari, the home of San Nicola, Cassano achieved in became the player of all Italy. In the day of Sant’Antonio, June the 13th, we decided to celebrate San Fantantonio.
