Kappa and Serie B presented the new "Kombat" match ball
It's the first of a four-year deal between the Italian second league and the Turin-based brand
July 4th, 2017
Today an important news arrived for the Italian second division, the Serie B, which presented the new match ball that will be used for the 2017/18 season. The new ball has been realized by Kappa, which introduced a four-year deal between the brand controlled by BasicNet and Serie B. The Turin-based mark has called the new match ball Kappa Kombat, celebrating the kit used by the Italian national football team in the early 2000s, and the one used by the rugby national team for many years.
And as the performance is the main base to work on, Kappa chose for a combination of hexagonal and pentagonal panels in polyurethane, which guarantees a perfect control of the ball, other than a low percentage of water absorption. The match ball has been presented in two versions, white/blue for the regular one and yellow/black for the high-vis one.
