New Balance unveiled Athletic Bilbao uniforms
The three kits represent all the history and tradition of the proudest club in Spain

New Balance's expansion continues in football. After recent presentations of Liverpool and Celtic's new kits, now it's time for the Basques of Athletic Bilbao. All three historic clubs of a great tradition. Which is widely respected for the home jersey: classic white and red stripes, white collar with black shorts and black details. The design is simple and minimal, not invasive, and exploits the power of the winning combination white-red-black, virtuous approach by nature.
The Los Leones uniform is also made precious with the detail of Ikurriña's flag, Basque region, on the back neck. However, the away jersey is inspired by that one worn by the club in the '40s, with its clear alternation between total black T-shirt and light gray shorts. The work for the third kit is very interesting: V-neck, electric blue with a central white band framed with red details. The tribute is obvious: with this uniform, New Balance wanted to pay tribute to Athletic's legends of the past who won the first Copa title in 1903.
