Nivelcrack unveiled the "Taekwondo Football Club" capsule collection

One of the most active brands of the last months is Nivelcrack, that is continuously offering new collections, born by the vivid mind of Shinjae Lee, Creative Director of the brand. Also in plain summer, the Seoul-based brand doesn’t stop to offer new stuff, like the new “Taekwondo Football Club” capsule collection.

The collection, composed by two tees - white and black - and a black shirt, is inspired by a match between South Korea and Argentina, played during the 1986 World Cup. As an unstoppable Diego Armando Maradona was playing for the Albiceleste those years, the South Korean players used an unusual tactic to stop him: Taekwondo. The word was used by the “Pibe de Oro” himself when in 2010, talking about that game, said that his opponents weren’t definitely playing football.

The capsule logo, in fact, is inspired by the very picture of the South Korean player Jung Moo Huh, while he was kicking Maradona in order to stop him. And even if Hun tried to say that he had no violent intents, he was harshly criticized, and that picture became some sort of icon. The “Taekwondo Football Club” capsule collection is already available at Nivelcrack’s online store.
