Germany logo for Euro 2024
The German Football Association announced the finalists to represent the bid as hosting country
September 27th, 2017
In a few months, the 2018 edition of the World Cup will begin, but in Germany, they’re already thinking about the European Championship that will be played in… 2024. That’s because after hosting the 2006 World Cup (did someone say “Campioni del Mondo”?), the German country is trying to host an international tournament once more, the European one.
The Germany committee, in fact, unanimously approved the will to bid for the 2024 tournament, and Germany is already the favorite as hosting country. Meanwhile, the German football association launched a challenge for the creation of the logo for Euro 2024 assignment bid. If chosen as hosting country, Germany must create a new logo for the tournament itself. After a firs selection, five logos have been chosen as finalists, and one of them will represent Germany’s candidacy.
Voting happened on Fussball.de website and the winner will be announced in the next days. Maybe around Coverciano, they are already rubbing their hands? The last adventure in Germany ended up pretty well.
