The new Nike x NBA era has finally begun, and the Swoosh is more than ready to take advantage of its knowledge of US playground culture to confirm itself as the number one brand when it comes to basketball sneakers. And to do it, Nike has officially launched its Air Force 1 “NBA” campaign.
It’s about a new series of colorways for the famous sneakers, realized with the colors of the most prestigious franchises of the Association, combined with some “Statement Edition” jerseys, part of the new uniform set of the teams. As for the shoes, the sneakers keep their original minimal concept, with a big swoosh on one side, the “Nike” writing on the laces, and the NBA logo - Jerry West’s famous silhouette - on the back. The “Air” writing decorates the lateral intersole, while the AF-1 signature is on the heel.
The colors are the classic ones of the most important teams in the NBA, from Lakers’ yellow to Celtics’ green, to Bulls’ red. The new Nike Air Force 1 “NBA” will drop on October 12 at Nike’s best retailers and SNKRS app.
