In our 2017/18 NBA preview, we highlighted the new partnership between Nike and the NBA as one of the main points of the season, ready to drop some bombs any time now. Actually though, one of the first gems of the season arrived from Mitchell & Ness, a company owned by adidas an in charge of all the vintage clothing of the NBA, that presented the new Hardwood Classic Swingman collection.
The lineup of the release includes a series of vintage jerseys that celebrate the glorious past of the league and, of course, the players that wrote its history. Two of them are still playing, as the new collection comprehends Cavs’ LeBron James and Warriors’ Stephen Curry’s rookie jerseys. Others, like Larry Bird and Hakeem Olajuwon, aren’t playing anymore, but they’re still affecting the NBA enthusiasts with their charm. The street fit of these jerseys will allow you to wear them both for the playground game and the Saturday afternoon walk.
