Supreme could team up with Nike for a NBA collection
The release will feature three jerseys and three pair of Air Jordan 1 Mids with similar colorways
October 27th, 2017
Among the many news of these first days of NBA season, one of the most relevant - especially for the people that, like us, are very fond of style - has surely been Nike debut as the official supplier of the American league. In the first months of work with the Association, the Swoosh had to set the league, taking care of the most urgent matters first, like the presentation of the new uniforms (not without problems). But now that the biggest part of the job is done, rumors about possible collaborations between the company from Beaverton, the NBA, and other brands are already running. The first name will surely raise the hype counter: Supreme.

According to some Twitter users, in fact, the New York-based brand could do something more than the reported collaboration with Nike, that should feature the release of three pairs of Air Jordan 1 Mids. According to reports, the Swoosh and Supreme could also have programmed the realization of three jerseys that - probably not randomly - should have the same colors of the Air Jordans coming in January.
It looks like the sneakers and the jerseys are part of the same collection and that we should wait for it to be dropped in early 2018. Right now, there’s nothing official but these rumors - that usually came from reliable sources - are already rising the hype of NBA enthusiasts. An eventual Nike x Supreme collaboration would justify all the months of waiting for the Swoosh’s debut as NBA official supplier.
