The Chef Family capsule collection inspired by Italia 90
When Totò Schillaci meets the skateboard and the streetstyle

Memories of Italia 90: Totò Schillaci's crazy eyes, the Notti Magiche soundtrack, Maradona scoring at San Paolo, the shiny Azzurri's shirts and the mascotte Ciao!. The Italian World Cup was probably the second (behind USA '94) most iconic global tournament from the apparel and aesthetic perspective. It condensates all the rampant imaginary of the late '80s in a country on the edge of his fame and growth, the Italian streetwear brand Chef Family took inspiration from that aesthetic for its latest capsule collection that mixes skate culture with football, blinking to the Nostalgia.
The collection is composed by two hoodies, a shirt, a pouch and two skate decks. These two are awesome: the first graphic is the famous photo of Totò Schillaci (the Italian top-scorer of the tournament), while the other one is a black and white photo of Ciao!, the stylish mascotte that represents perfectly the aesthetic of the World Cup.
Two black hoodies, the shirt, and the pouch complete the collection. On every piece, the round Italian logo was redesigned following the Italia 90's scheme. The shirt is inspired by the jersey worn by the Azzurri and designed by Diadora: a shiny deep blue colorway decored by a bold font for the numbers on the back. A real gem from this collection is the pouch.
