Back to 1994 with Spain's new home shirt
adidas unveiled the new kit for la Roja, inspired by the one used for the US World Cup
November 6th, 2017
As you’ve probably seen, this morning adidas Football presented a series of national teams’ kits for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. We already saw Germany, Argentina, and Mexico’s, all united by a pronounced retro inspiration. It’s the same for Spain’s one, that is a truthful replica of the one used for USA ’94.
Even if that international tournament wasn’t particularly good for La Roja, eliminated by Italy thanks to a double by Roberto Baggio, Spain’s 1994 kit was a proper gem, that now has been represented for the Soviet World Cup. The classic color of the Red Furies is accompanied by a vertical striped on the side made by red, blue, and yellow diamonds, as yellow are the stripes on the shoulders and Spain federation and adidas’ logos. Blue shorts and socks, with different tones, complete this Spain kit for the 2018 World Cup. As for the other shirts, also this shirt for La Roja features the Climachill technology, and it’s part of a larger collection that includes shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories.
