Tonight our Nazionale is gonna go all in against Sweden in San Siro, win or lose nothing in the middle. If we would miss qualifying for the World Cup it will be the first time since 1958, when Sweden hosted the competition. The Italian pride for the Nazionale looks like a great romantic story with ups and downs, in a country that lives football every day and everyone is the coach of the team. But in a team that is struggling to find a leader - both between the players and the manager - supporters can surround of love and enthusiasm of our shirt: a symbol of the Nazionale's glorious history, an object that unifies a country always divided. We of nss factory had the privilege to shot the Italia's new shirt by Puma, and today we are gonna take you behind the camera of our photographer Vincenzo Schioppa.
In modern football shirts have become a cult object, they are able to tell stories and narrate the background of a team or even an entire country. For this reason - in collaboration with the creative team of Knass and Falca - we decided to shoot the campaign in Naples: the city where the nss factory started and in which the love for football mixes with street culture, religion, and everyday life. Vincenzo Schioppa decided to photograph the shirt in his neighborhood of Mater Dei, one of the most real and untouched of Naples, where you can still breathe the essence of the city.
Tonight the it only matters to win, let's do it for our shirt.
