All Nike Basketball look for Phil Knight's 80th birthday

Can you feel it? It’s been in the air for a while now. In nss’ newsroom, we’re already breathing March Madness, even if we’re just in November. But the question of the day is: “who is Phil Knight?”. Don't you know him? Well, then you’re not worth to wear a Nike shoe on your feet and you should do the “walk of shame”, just like Cersei in Game of Thrones.

If it will ever become just business, that would mean that business is bad”. For Swoosh father’s 80th birthday, from November 23 to 26, in Portland, Oregon - where everything began - there will be a basketball tournament with some of the best college teams that play in the NCAA like: Arkansas, Butler, Connecticut, Duke, DePaul, Florida, Gonzaga, Stato del Michigan, Carolina del Nord, Stato dell'Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Portland, Stato di Portland, Stanford e Texas. Each and every one of these teams has a legendary presence in basketball and Phil was a true teammate of their history, thanks to his brand.

During the games, teams will wear shoes and uniforms marked by Knight’s style and logo. There’s no genius on earth that doesn’t have some distinctive elements that mark him from the mass. For those who don’t know Phil Knight, his particularity is in the outfit, the so-called “Look’s Knight”, made by black glasses and all-black elements everywhere. All the sneakers, in fact, will have the black as the main color. So, we’ll see black versions of the Kyrie 3, PG1, Kobe AD, and KD10, and North Carolina will wear the Jordan 32’s PK80 and the 2017 SuperFly.
