PUMA presented Uruguay new home shirt
Inspired by the Sol De Mayo, symbol of the country, it will be used by La Celeste during the World Cup in Russia

Unfortunately, the World Cup qualifying hasn’t been a great moment for PUMA, that had to powerlessly witness the elimination of several teams, including of course the Italian one. This left the brand with just two teams competing for the ultimate World Cup win and for one of these two - Uruguay - has just presented the jersey realized for the tournament.
Nevertheless, the new shirt for La Celeste is pure fold, and it’s worthy of the importance of the tournament, with a beautiful reinterpretation of the Sol De Mayo, the country symbol, inspired by Carlos Paez Vilaro’s illustration. The Sol De Mayo is represented on the front part of the shirt - that, of course, is ‘celeste’ - in a lighter tone than the background color. The crest with golden details and “AUF - Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol” writing is on the chest, while the “La Celeste” writing and the #ELEQUIPOQUENOSUNE hashtag (The team who unites us) can be found inside the sleeve and on the bottom of the shirt.
