Hummel HIVE and 24 Kilates “Sepak Takraw” collection Inspired by the Southeaster Asian sport, that looks just like tennis-football but much much cooler

As you surely know, nss sports continuously monitors the Internet, searching for the freshest contents and the most original trends. And honestly, we doubt that you will be able to find something more original than this today, as we’re about to talk about Sepak Takraw, a sport from Southeast Asia that looks just like tennis-football, but with a much smaller ball that we’re used to and a series of acrobatics worth of the movie masterpiece (let’s say that) “Shaolin Soccer”.

How did we meet this amazing sport? Thank the video above, that presents HIVE, an internal division of Hummel, and 24 Kilates’, a sneaker retailer based in Barcelona, collection, dedicated to Sepak Takraw itself. The two brand collaborated for the creation of a pair of sneakers, called Marathona, and two jerseys with a similar look than the shoes. Made by premium, black lamb leather, the sneakers have an elegant design, with golden detailing and also a golden pendant inspired by Thailand, home of Sepak Takraw. We found particularly interesting the shirt, that looks just like a football jersey, realized in black/gold and embellished with a Thailand-inspired pattern, with Hummel, 24 Kilates and the Thailand national team’s golden logos in the front part. Very striking, and yet an easy (style) win.

For now, you can admire the Hummel HIVE and 24 Kilates “Sepak Takraw” collection here, but from December 2 it will be available at 24 Kilates in Barcelona and selected locations in Bangkok. From December 7, the collection will be available online.a
