The NBA regular season has started from a few weeks now, and even with the cut of the initial hype for the new Nike uniforms worn by the Association’s franchises, we’re still monitoring the best ones. Today we take a closer look to Golden State Warriors’ Classic Uniforms, jerseys that the reigning champions worn in the travel to Florida against Orlando Magic and Miami Heat, and that they will use just for 13 games during the season.

The Golden State Warriors’ Classic Edition uniform is inspired by the shirts worn during the Eighties, (from ’83 to ’88 circa). The white color and font and logo styles are inspired by the ones used in the famous game against the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1987 playoff, when Sleepy Floyd scored 51 points, setting the NBA record for most point in a time (39) and in a quarter (29) in a playoff game.
